Pavilions Hotels & Resorts becomes the first international boutique hotel group in the world to accept cryptocurrencies from any country for room reservations.
In cooperation with the British Coindirect, all the hotels of the group will accept reservations securely through digital assets such as Bitcoin, Ethereum and 40 other virtual currencies.
We are proud to offer our partners a platform for instant and secure payments with over 40 cryptocurrencies, said Coindirect CEO and co-founder Jesse Hemson-Struthers. This is an important factor, he added, for The Pavilions Hotels & Resorts to ensure that end-to-end payment service is safe, flexible and easy for its guests when booking their experience at any of its hotels around the world.
For his part, the founder and owner of Pavilions Hotels & Resorts, Gordon Oldham, stressed that this flexibility in payments combined with security and peace of mind for guests is the next step in personalized services.
Pavilions Residences, with properties for sale in Puke and Niseko, will also accept cryptocurrencies for home purchases.
Recently, the company announced new hotels in Thailand, on Palawan Island in the Philippines, expanding its portfolio of 14 destinations worldwide, to destinations such as Puke, Bali, Himalayas, Mongolia, Niseko, Amsterdam, Madrid, Lisbon and Rome.
Cryptocurrency payments are available for direct bookings at any hotel booking center from July 7, 2021. In the future they will also be available through booking engines.
